- The Concello de Arnoia will award a single prize to the winner of the contest, valued at 1,000 euros.
- Proposals have arrived from the United Kingdom, Italy and locations all across Spain: Andalusia, Castilla La Mancha, Navarre or Madrid.
- The deadline to submit the works will be next 7 June at 23:59h. The festival will be held between 30 July and 1 August.
The Concello de Arnoia is warming up its engines to celebrate the 42nd edition of its Festa do Pemento, which will be held between 30 July and 1 August.
A festival that has already kicked off by launching the 1st Poster Contest and which the artistic scene has welcomed with great success, since in just a few weeks proposals have been received from all over Spain and even international ones such as the United Kingdom or Italy.
The submission period remains open until 7 June. Therefore, those interested in sending their work may do so at contacto@festadopemento.es and consult the rules at www.pementosdearnoia.com
The proposals must be submitted by the authors themselves. Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 posters. The organisation reserves the right to reclaim the prize amount if, at any time after the award, a breach of the rules is detected, as well as to reject in advance any posters that do not comply with them.
As for the theme, it may cover everything related to the festival: from the preparations to the celebration or the sowing.
The goal of this initiative is to foster creativity and to raise awareness of the festival and of the diversity, historical, cultural, ethnographic and scenic richness of the Concello, as well as to spread and promote art.
FESTA DO PEMENTO 2021
With this initiative, the Concello de Arnoia confirms that the Festa do Pemento will indeed be held this year in the same way it was held in the past 2020 edition, in the midst of the pandemic, with all safety measures and adapting to the restrictions in force at that time.
There will once again be a bet on an eminently digital component, creating a new edition of the Roteiro Gastronómico do Pemento in order to taste the star product while maintaining strict capacity control and anti-Covid health measures. In addition, the social media @pementosdearnoia will be boosted to promote both the festival and the product itself.
